Chrome Plated Tube
Chrome plated tube are produced from Drawn over Mandrel (DOM) tubing in carbon steel. The outside diameter is centerless ground, polished, and chrome plated to a thickness.

What is chrome plated tube
Chrome plated tube through electrochemical process without hexavalent chrome The fundamental feature of this product is a high dimensional precision to meet tolerance. Chromium plating gives high surface hardness and corrosion resistance.

Application of chrome plated tube
Chrome plated tube are primarily used as piston rods, a critical component in hydraulic cylinders. The basic function of transforming hydraulic power to a linear motion whilst preventing ingress of abrasive media into the hydraulic system will stipulate a set of demands on the rod. Our steel grades are optimized in analysis and production method to match the requirements in mechanical properties as well as amenability to our plating process. Suitable for Telescoping Hydraulic Cylinders, Elevator Cylinder, Telescope Cylinder, Scaling Ladder, Agriculture Machines, Earthwork Machines, etc.
