1.4313 X3CrNiMo13-4 Martensitic Stainless Steel

 

Introduce

1.4313 Stainless steel is a martensitic stainless steel grade, which can be hardened with heat treatment. This grade is written as 1.4313 or X3CrNiMo13-4 according to EN norm and it is written as UNS S41500 according to UNS norm. It starts with 415 number according to UNS norm so because of this, some sources accept this grade also as AISI 415 stainless steel. 1.4313 material is a magnetic grade and 1.4313 heat treated according to the following three different heat treatment conditions: QT650, QT780, QT900. The numbers 650, 780 and 900 are showing the minimum tensile MPA strength of the materials.
